PART 2   Homoeopathy for your health and that of the Planet

Homoeopathy can treat a wide range of chronic conditions such as arthritis, asthma, migraines, digestive disorders and skin conditions.

In many cases, homoeopathic medicines are used as a complementary treatment alongside conventional medicine, especially for conditions that are difficult to treat with conventional medicine alone.

Homoeopathic medicine is non-toxic and often has fewer or no side effects; patients can benefit from the medicines without the risks associated with long term pharmaceutical use.

The individual seeking to avoid harsh side effects of prescription medications wil find that  homoeopathy offers a more gentle alternative.

For example, medicines for allergies or stress related conditions can help modulate the body’s immune responses or alleviate emotional imbalances which often are at the core of chronic illnesses.

Mental Health and Emotional Well-Being

“A teenage patient came into my practice crying, he told me that his girlfriend had left him.

I  prescribed Ignatia. A perfect medicine for disappointed love.”

Medicines such as Aconite for anxiety and panic attacks,  Natrum Muriaticum for grief and emotional suppression have been used successfully to help individuals regain emotional equilibrium. The teenage patient, day after he informed me that he felt more detached about the breakup.

A  few years later the same patient came back to the practice again crying, at this point he was a young police officer.

He had been exposed to several traumatic events that were causing him a high degree of anxiety and he was concerned about his safety.

I prescribed Calcarea Arsenicosa and after a few days he regained his mental health.”

Homoeopathy has a significant role in mental health care. Homeopathic medicines are designed not only to address physical ailments but also to address  emotional and psychological states. The medicines useful in the treatment of depression, anxiety, insomnia and stress related disorders.

Homoeopathic Medicines aim to treat the root cause of an illness rather than simply suppress symptoms.

They can provide more lasting relief for emotional health, often preventing the reoccurrence of mental health issues.

Homeopathy in Europe

Over 100 million EU citizens some 29% of the EU’s population, use homoeopathic medicines in their day-to-day healthcare.

Homoeopathy is safely practised in 40 out of 42 European countries.

They are available in most health food shops and many pharmacies.

But what is Homoeopathy? You may ask.

Homoeopathy is a holistic medicine founded by Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician in the late 18th Century. He was, without doubt, a genius.

The principle is that ‘like cures like”, Hippocrates spoke about this principle, so it is not unknown.

Homoeopathy makes the medicines from the plant kingdom, animal kingdom and mineral kingdom.

Using  high dilutions with trituration to produce the remedies that will produce symptoms in a healthy person to treat sick persons with the equivalent symptoms ( like cures like).

You may well be familiar with the anecdote in drinking circles, ” taking the hair of the dog that bit you”  It is a fun way to think of like cures like!

How does it work?

I always said to my patients that the best person to talk to is a quantum physicist. We understand much more about the “energy”, particles and mass in our world today.

Homoeopathy is often referred to as an energy medicine, similar to the energy meridians in the practice of Acupuncture.

I like Dana Ullman’s thinking on a change of paradigms to shine more light on how the medicines work.

He wrote:

“Quantum physics may help lay the theoretical foundations for how the homoeopathic microdoses act.

Bell’s theorem, an integral part of quantum physics, holds that things are fundamentally interconnected and inseparable.

Various studies have concluded that interconnections exist and that some things can dramatically affect other things, even if only very small changes in one thing occur, and even if these things are great distances from each other.

Quantum physicists do not precisely know the nature of these interconnections but some evidence suggests that homeopathy’s  law of similars and its use of infinitesimal doses, is additional confirmation of this mysterious but real phenomenon.

The diluted homoeopathic medicines may have distinct effects upon the dilutant (water) even in extremely high dilutions.

What this means and the implications of this on homoeopathy is that the dilutions, even beyond Avogadro’s number, may not erase the memory of the original drug once it has been registered as present as a particle in a solution.

The medicinal substance in diluted form may then have a field effect upon the solution in which it is being diluted and ultimately have a field effect upon the entire organism that imbibes it.

Microscopic changes can occur in living organisms when specific key enzymes hormones or tissues are activated, even if only slightly activated.

Modern chaos theory tends to support this observation.  One of the basic assumptions of chaos theory is that minute changes can lead to huge differences.

It is presently recognised that living and non-living things have their own resonance.

As science writer K.C  Cole wrote, ” Planets and atoms and almost everything in between, vibrate at one or more natural frequencies.

When something else nudges them periodically at one of these frequencies, resonance results. Cole goes on to say, that resonance means to resound, to sound again or to echo, and the power of resonance is in the pushing or pulling in the same direction that the force is already going.

A synchrony of small pushes can add up to create a significant change. A classic example of the force of resonance is witnessed in the phenomenon of soldiers walking in one place over a bridge causing it to collapse……..”

What is also interesting about resonance is that resonance is more powerful when there is a little friction, when the force is similar to, though not exactly the same as the initial force.

The resonance becomes broader, creating something similar to a chord rather than a single note. The relationship of these ideas to healing is that homoeopaths find that the most effective homoeopathic medicine is one that is the most similar not necessarily the same as the symptoms the person is experiencing

Using small doses of the wrong substance or the right substance at the wrong time creates little or no effect.

This is why the incorrect homoeopathic medicine doesn’t do anything.”

Avogadro’s number……one Mole of any substance contains exactly 6.022214076 x 10 to the power of 23 particles.

Enjoy whatever you are creating this week!
